I needed a new battery. It was installed promptly. My only complaint was the sign out front stated free installation and my bill said free installation but I was charged $55 for the installation. I pointed this out and Carlos was shocked to see the charge on my bill. They could not credit my credit card but I was assured a check will be mailed to me refunding me of the installation fee. I will follow up in a couple weeks if I don?t receive it. Otherwise I am happy and will return. Addendum:(updated 2 months after purchase) I originally gave a 5 star but am updating this now. I was charged in early December for a battery installation cost was $55.20. Large sign out front of store read free battery installation and my invoice also said free battery installation right next to the $55.20 charge. Store could not take charge off my credit card despite my pointing this out to them within an hour of noting it. I was told I?d get a check mailed to me. I waiting 4 weeks called store and was told I should have received this with 5 days. He assured me it would be sent. I am now 2 weeks past my inquiry date. I?m pushing 2 months at this point. I will NOT return to Monro and suggest to all to be cautious of costs. I will follow up with BBB and possibly attorney general to get my money back. I?m sad as I thought I found a new car repair place as I am newer to the area but I guess not. Time to find another mechanic. Comment in this review from Monro was posted based on my original post and not this update that no refund had been issued. Still waiting. Still unsure why they couldn?t credit the over charge to my credit card. Made no sense. I think these are intentional over charges. Attorney general has been notified as well as BBB....
