Not happy with my service here anymore. I have been coming since 2020, but since management has changed things are not good. I brought my car in (2019 Honda) for a belt tensioner replacement, it took 5 days initially with poor communication throughout. 2 weeks later belt starts making a new noise, I drop it back off for 3 days for them to fix it. They say first of all they don't know why it's making that noise, then they say the part was faulty and they'd replace for free. I said okay, I can't leave the car can I pick it up and drop off Sunday? They said sure. I picked up my car, when they gave me the keys and I go to drive away the car is dead. Turns out the tech didn't connect the battery correctly after he looked at it! I dropped the car off the following Sunday for the repair. On Tuesday he alerts me the car has been transferred to a different shop in Irondequoit to do the repair. Following more poor communication and promised deadlines that weren't met, I finally was able to pick up my car from Irondequoit on Saturday, almost a week later. So, for this one repair, my car was in the shop for 15 days. Honestly if the communication was better I wouldn't have been so irritated, but I was the one constantly calling and asking for updates. I will obviously not be coming back to Monroe.....

I went in for an oil change, I chose Monro because I found a coupon on their website so an oil change for $50. I went in and showed the coupon to the manager who was working the desk. He told me that it ?wasn?t a coupon? and that it was ?showing the price of the oil change service? and said that he wasn?t sure if the oil I needed would qualify for the coupon. Okay no problem. I?m sitting there with two other women waiting for our vehicles. Come to find out they switched up the services that me and another women were supposed to get. Inside of an oil change I got a tire alignment and she got my oil change. The manager says no problem we?ll be getting both services for free since we sat there for over an hour. Great, they do an inspection (which was included with the service) they document the wrong mileage on my car (mind you I gave them the correct mileage). Then I?m charged nearly $100 for the oil change that I was told was going to be free because of the inconvenience, then I?m looking at the receipt and the oil I got should have qualified for the coupon. Never again, stay away from this place!!!....
