Needed a new battery. Battery was 250$ Way to much when I looked at prices online

The part (starter) installed by Monroe Muffler HENRIETTA got frozen. They gave me an offer to change for free pluss a quote for the wheel barings and the brakes. I accepted even knowing that the first time they took longer that what they said they will, and they told me the needed to use a hammer to change the part because it was to hard to access and take it out. I decided to give them another chance. I brought the car on a Thursday , expecting it to be ready by Monday ( they told me it would be ready on Sunday). Unfortunately, during the repair, the mechanic got injured, on Sunday he was all day in urgent care and the other mechanic ( manager)was injured already. There was not a back up plan for this types of situations. I asked them to give me the car to take it to another monroe muffler and they insisted in finish it. They finish the car on Tuesday at closing time. I incured in a lot of expenses for paying Uber to go to my job and doc appointments. The front desk lady is great. I could tell she was doing her best to keep me inform about the situation. This turned into a very stressful and challenging situation. When I picked up the car it had 3 new lights on. The ABS, the traction light and the slighding car light. The car was not able to get to the top of my driveway when I took it home, and they left the car with the battery uncharged. I am afraid to take it again to them. But I would make it evaluate in another shop and if they broke something I would do a formal complain to Minroe Muffler. They did not offered me financing I asked for it because the friend that refered me to Monroe Muffler told me about it. The first time I went, the manager was in the front desk and made it look like it was a to complicate, so I didn't apply but when I asked again when the front desk lady was there, she gave me all the information and I was able to get it. I wanted to be transparent about my experience. If I hadn?t needed to tow the car to the this location, I would have preferred to bring it to another shop.
