12/12/25 update** Finally got an appointment at the dealership. The issue is that when the Monroe tech replaced the rear brakes, they failed to reactive the electronic parking brake. When they pried the caliper open it bent and destroyed the parking brake module. Will cost over 1000$ in parts and labor. As we speak, I have been on hold for 20 minutes at Monroe. Someone answer and placed me on hold. Hopefully they will pay for this repair. If not, I?ll lawyer up even if it costs me more that the repair and sue for both costs. Maybe they will pick me back up. Let?s see? Appreciate the reply from the owner. However, this is not simply an inconvenience. This was complete disrespect, and some of the worst customer service I?ve ever experienced. Appreciate the offer to rectify but honestly, I don?t trust that your crew won?t do more damage. I?ll take it to the dealer and send you the bill once they determine that it was in fact your staff that caused this mistake. I can probably buff out the blue scratches, but it?s just mind-boggling that someone would respond the way that they did. Completely incompetent. When in for an inspection and oil change, they failed the car saying that the rotors needed to be changed. I paid for the overpriced brake service which included pads and rotors for all four wheels when we got there they were in a panic because they couldn?t get the electronic parking brake out of service mode. They said this could be due to an old code that had nothing to do with the service they did which is complete BS. The electronic parking brake worked perfectly fine when I got there no warning lights nothing. Now the parking brake no longer works, and the light is flashing . On top of that, I watched the service tech get out of the car and slammed the door into the lift. When I called him out on that and showed him the blue scratches left on the door. He said there?s no way because the lift has bumpers. The lift did not in fact, have bumpers. I pointed that out to the gentleman. He then told me I don?t know why you?re yelling at me about that when there are other scratches on the car. Complete disrespect, complete scam completely incompetent. Save yourself the hassle and do not bring your car here. I now have to take the car to the dealership to fix Monroe?s mistake.
