You should check the oil every few hundred miles, or every other time you fill your gas tank. Consult your owner’s manual for the position of the oil dipstick and engine oil filler opening. The best time to check the oil is when your engine is warm and on level ground. Turn off the vehicle and wait a few minutes. Then pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean with a rag, and reinsert it. Push it all the way in. Pull out the dipstick, again. It will have either two notches or an indent to show the oil level. It’s best to keep the oil level at or near the top mark. If the oil is between the two marks, you may add oil. Below the bottom mark, add oil. At or above the top mark, do not add oil. Too much oil in your engine can actually cause problems. If you’re low, add oil a little at a time (no more than half a quart to a quart), then re-check. Replace the dipstick before you close the hood. It’s a good idea to keep at least one quart of oil in your garage and one in your trunk. The oil specifications for your make and model are in your owner’s manual. Or, stop by one of our stores. Lack of communication between taking the appointment over the phone and the staff in the building. I had a scheduled appointment for drop off even have email confirming the appointment. When I called about my vehicle the staff told me they didn?t know why my vehicle was there even though it was clearly obvious there was a flat tire. When I told them it was a Pilot they said the vehicle had already left the shop. I never received a phone call after my vehicle had been looked at. I had to call to find out if my vehicle had been looked at and what was wrong. I was never shown my tire where the wall had been damaged. I walked in at the end of the day Friday to confirm my options. I told the individual in the office that I would like one tire and he stated that they could order the tire and it would come in on Saturday and we would complete the job. By noon on Saturday I had heard nothing so once again I had to call for status. At that time the individual I spoke with told me I didn?t call him to confirm what needed to be done with the vehicle. He couldn?t confirm whether or not I could even get my vehicle fixed even though the individual the night before said it would not be an issue. He couldn?t even confirm that a tire had been ordered per my instructions the night before and hung up on me. I?m not sure what was going on in that building certainly lots of people around and in cars and hanging out in the parking lot. Lack of customer service skills were clearly evident.....
