Major communication failure between answering service and local shop. I am writing this review to highlight a serious communication breakdown between Monroe?s central booking service and the local shop, in hopes that management fixes this process. I scheduled an appointment through their outside answering service to have tires mounted. During the call, I explicitly disclosed that I was bringing in my own tires, and the representative assured me that was fine. However, when I arrived for my appointment, the shop told me they do not accept outside tires. Because of this miscommunication, I took time off work and waited all day for an appointment that could not be fulfilled?time I could have spent going to another shop that actually takes customer-supplied tires. While the on-site staff was simply following their store policy, the central scheduling system completely failed. If an outside service is taking calls and booking appointments for local stores, they must be trained on location-specific policies so customers aren't misled and given false assurances. Please call the store directly to double-check policies before booking through their main phone line. Brian Meadows and his mechanic Josh were absolutely excellent. They diagnosed my issue flawlessly. And processed to repair my car quickly and perfectly. I recommend them most highly and without reservation. Great honest people and a fair price.
