I've been to this monro a few times before and felt screwed price wise which is why I was never a fan of these chain mechanic shops. I will say though David the store manager is the man. Normally I would cringe at a $1,500 brake job but David went out of his way to explain the cost of the job and why it was so. Even his main mechanic Brandon looked over my wife's car and made two suggestions for future repairs but didn't try to scare me or upsell me into getting them, he just said think about it for later but nothing to worry about now. I know people don't normally trust monro's, but with David there I can attest he does work with you on price if he can in terms of bundles/discounts. Treat people with respect and kindness and you'll likely receive it in return .....
