Brought my vehicle in for a thumping noise that increased with vehicle speed. I was Informed of my brake pad wear and that the rotors had hot spots that were rubbing the pads and causing the sounds. After repair by replacing the pads and rotors, the sound still persisted. Took it to the dealer and was informed I just needed a tire rebalance for a fraction of what I was charged for the ?repair?. Not only that, I was informed the brake pads were installed incorrectly for the vehicle and there was a missing brake caliper pin. I have used Monro in the past with good results, which is why I had gone to them first. It?s been a while since I was back and I guess things have changed. This was absolutely not the quality and expertise in service I had received in the past and this is certainly a business I cannot return to given the multiple levels of failure that occurred with this single service. This is a loss of trust that cannot be repaired.....
