Place used to fix my truck. I got the premium break and rotor package. Took it in for an inspection recently and they didn't want the work. Figured to get it right may have been out of there wheel house. Had an appointment for last Saturday. Just to swap out a caliper. They now tell me they can't work on it because the lift they have used several times to work on it now can't possibly lift the truck. Huge waste of time. I'll be contacting thier corporate to ask how my 2 year warranty works on the breaks and rotors. They messed up the plans for the day I had and I did the job in an hour.....

Went in for NYS inspection and brake change (back rotors were needed too). Made appt on 4/18, for 4/23, and was told to drop car off at 7:30 am. They didn?t open until 7:45 am (I get it, mornings suck lol). I assumed my car would be ready in a few hours after that. I called in the afternoon for an update, but they hadn?t gotten to my vehicle yet, ok fair. Jay finally calls at 1:45 pm informing me the total cost & whats needed, which I agreed to, and assumed again, they were finally getting to it and would be done soon. 6:30 pm rolls around with no call, and they close at 7. I was worried, because I had to walk to pick it up, and it?s a 15-20 minute walk. Finally at 6:40-6:45 pm, I had to call them to get an update, again. Guy informed me they were ?just about to back it out of the bay and do a test drive.? I get there, and my car was still in the bay and i had to wait another 10 or so minutes in the lobby. I paid and left. The lack of communication, on updates or delays with this situation was stressful. I was the one who had to call for updates, because I thought maybe they had the wrong number, or forgot to call? Why schedule an appointment for 7:30 am, but then not get finished with it until 7 pm. Monroe had my car for almost 12 hours. Used Monroe many times before for same service and it took less than 2 hours. I understand things happen, especially working on vehicles, but this whole situation put a bad taste in my mouth. Why schedule a 7:30 am drop off, if you can?t get to it until 10 hours later and then not keep the customer informed? Luckily, I didn?t have any plans that day and was fortunate enough to wait around for 11.5 hours. $780 later. Will be shopping around for another garage in the future.....
